I can't believe this! After placing my order a while back, I just got a card from Royal Mail asking for a customs fee of £42.94. What the heck? I've never had to deal with this before, and considering I've spent over 200 pounds with this company, I’m really frustrated that I wasn’t given a heads-up about this unexpected charge.

To make matters worse, I had to reach out to the company myself since it’s been ages since I made my purchase.

I’m just so disgusted by this whole situation!

I'm a big fan of City Beauty products because they truly enhance your skin's appearance, which boosts your confidence. They genuinely stand by their mission to help women look and feel their absolute best!

I own nearly all their products! The mascara from Beyond is fantastic! The multi-sculpting cream does wonders, and I apply the mask before bed. The new lip oil feels super smooth and provides excellent hydration. The eyelid lifting cream is awesome and truly effective!

At last, a skincare brand that genuinely delivers on what they say. The lip gloss treatment is nothing short of a miracle for both immediate and lasting effects. You can't go wrong with their eye care line, especially the Lid Lifting Treatment, which is one of my top picks. The Uplift serum does amazing things for the jowls and even helps with a double chin.

But then I noticed there are only around five positive reviews on their site since 2021, and the feedback on Trustpilot isn't much different. Wow, what a revelation!!!!! If you're outside the US, be careful! I usually read the negative reviews, but with these super slick, impressive websites, it's become a must before making a purchase... same goes for hotels, by the way.

I came across their ad on social media for this lip plumping gloss and just had to give it a shot. Honestly, it's the finest plumping gloss I've ever bought. Sure, it’s a bit pricey, but it really delivers. I even had someone ask if I had fillers done! I told them, 'Nope, just this city lip plumping gloss,' and shared the website where they can grab it.

I've tested out a bunch of other brands, but city is truly the top choice. I usually apply city first, wait about 5-10 minutes, and then layer on a colored product on top.

I’m only four days into trying out this face cream and crepe remover! (Just my take, not theirs.) I’m blown away by how vibrant and lively my skin appears, and it looks so much plumper already! I’ve decided to cancel my botox and filler appointment (never had filler, just one botox, I’m 61) because I want to see how this product works. So far, it’s been awesome!!!

I bought the City Lips Plumper along with the Multi Action Sculpting Cream - honestly, save your cash. At 54 years old, I found the lip plumper to be nothing but a sticky mess that didn’t change a thing. The Sculpting Cream? Same deal, just a heavy cream that didn’t do a thing at all.

I got charged twice for my order. My credit card alerted me right away. I reached out via email, but after a few days, still no reply. Eventually, I managed to find a phone number to call. They claimed I must've hit the back arrow key, but they didn’t provide a paid shipping label, so I had to pay for the return myself. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company.

By the way, the lip plumping gloss was sticky and didn’t do anything for my lips. The sculpting cream was decent, but honestly, there are plenty of other brands out there that operate ethically. It’s funny how their website shows all products with 5-star ratings and there’s no option for customers to leave their own honest reviews. That’s another red flag that should make you think twice before buying from them.

And a shoutout to the YouTube vloggers who take sponsorships from them and hype up their products. You’re just supporting their shady practices. I’m done buying from them for good.

I've been using City Lips for over a decade, and I can genuinely say it's the finest lip product I've ever tried. But recently, the price took a crazy leap from 18 bucks a tube—which lasts just 14 days—to 36 bucks a tube.

I get it, some women with deep pockets can easily shell out 36 dollars for a couple weeks of lip care. But for regular folks like me—a widow trying to make ends meet for my kids—it's just not doable. So, with a heavy heart, I have to say goodbye to City Lips. This company, which is doing so well, ought to feel a bit of shame.

I can't believe how bad the customer support is! I've been using their multi sculpting cream for years and really love it. When my credit card got compromised, I had no idea there was an issue since I couldn't log into my city beauty account. The first sign something was off was when my product didn’t show up. After reaching out, I learned that my subscription, which was linked to PayPal, got rejected because it was trying to use my old card. They just went ahead and canceled my subscription without a heads-up. I raised a fuss, and they set up a new subscription with my new card, but naturally, it cost more than the price I had locked in ages ago. (By this point, I had sent several emails and messages on Facebook just to get here).

Then, I started getting two jars each month. One was still going through PayPal, even though they claimed it was canceled, and the other was charged to my new card. I shot them another email (I can’t call internationally, and they won’t call me) asking them to cancel the one on my credit card and keep the PayPal subscription at the lower rate. They replied saying they had some technical issues and ended up canceling the PayPal one instead. They didn’t even bother to check if that was alright with me. I went back to Facebook messenger to voice my complaint. I asked them to undo the cancellation or just shut them both down - and guess what? They ended up closing my other subscription! So much for feeling appreciated as a long-time customer. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and wanted to file a complaint, they directed me to the same general support email that caused all these issues in the first place. So, to sum it up, the product is great, but if you need any help from customer support, good luck!
